Essay On Natural Heritage||Natural Heritage of Nepal

(What is natural heritage?)

Natural resources and natural endowments are heritage. Nepal is a very rich country in terms of natural heritage. Himshrinkhala, which stands unwaveringly on the head of Nepal, mineral deposits of endless water flowing in the womb and chest, forests that always bring the country to the height of beauty and gather economic resources, are the natural resources of Nepal. Nepal can be made prosperous and prosperous only through their proper use.

(Water Resources of Nepal)

As far as water assets, Nepal is viewed as the second most extravagant country on the planet. There are vast supplies and streams here. There are endless reservoirs and streams here. Attractive lakes exist and rivers flow incessantly, chaangas, chharas and kholsas flow everywhere. In fact, water is essential for every living being. Nepal has not been able to properly utilize water, which is considered as an integral part of life. Although it is considered rich in terms of water resources, only 35% of Nepali people have access to drinking water. By using the vast water resources in Nepal, by producing hydropower, Nepal can be enriched and not just troubled. According to a survey, it has the capacity to produce 83,000 megawatts of electricity. On the one hand, the problem of fuel will be solved by electricity generation and forest destruction will be stopped, on the other hand, it will also have a positive impact on the environment. Electricity can be used as an alternative to gas, firewood, oil etc. Nepal can earn a lot of income by selling the electricity produced here in the world market. It seems that the farmers of Nepal will also get a lot of benefits from its proper use. Most people in Nepal embrace agriculture as their main occupation. Nepal can also develop properly only if the agricultural profession can be improved. Therefore, irrigation has a great role to develop agriculture in a good way. There is no doubt that Nepali people's lives will be enriched if irrigation facilities are provided to Nepali agriculture, which has been deprived of irrigation facilities. What this means is that as an agricultural country, our agricultural sector dependent on sky water can be developed through irrigation system from these immense water sources.

Like water resources, Nepal is also a rich country in terms of mineral resources, but it has not been properly utilized yet. In fact, the economic growth rate of the country can be increased through the exploration and production of precious minerals. This fact can be seen by looking at the speed of development and prosperity of Arab countries. Although there is potential for abundant mineral resources in Nepal, due to the lack of skilled manpower and the inaction of the government, only a limited amount of mineral resources could be used. Although there are iron mines in Labdikhola, Phulchoki, Toshe, Fikkal Bhootkhola, Babsi, Buddhkhola, Doti, Rasuwa and Nuwakot, mica mines and many types of metal mines are found in different parts of the country, as they are not widely utilized, Nepal is not able to free itself from dependence on the respective areas. . In fact, due to lack of survey and research in Nepal, lack of technical knowledge, difficulty in transportation, lack of capital, lack of national investment and determination, Nepal is not able to use as much mineral resources as it wants. It seems that the importance of mineral resources in Nepal is also increasing as economic prosperity, self-reliance and prosperity will come from mineral resources. Among the various natural resources found in Nepal, forest resources are also considered important. The fact that Nepal is a rich country in terms of forest resources is evident from the popular saying that green forest is the wealth of Nepal. Even at the present time, Nepal has been declared as the first country in terms of the practice of community forestry. Forests help in increasing the fertility of the soil as well as preventing the loss of food. It helps to maintain weather and environmental balance. Not only this, the forest has also become a shelter for rare wildlife. We can get firewood, wood, plough, spade or spade, raw material for industry, grass and herbs etc. from the forest. It is said that herbs can be found in the forests of Nepal that can cure even incurable diseases. Therefore, it is known from some news that these rare herbs are also being used in other countries. There is no doubt that a lot of income can be generated if forest resources are properly utilized.

In fact, our country is considered to be the richest country in the world in terms of natural resources, but due to the lack of government-level interest, lack of skilled manpower and lack of commitment, it seems that nothing has been satisfactorily utilized. As we step into the twenty-first century, we can only be successful in facing future challenges if we are able to move forward in the way of natural resources. If not, there is no other basis to make the future of Nepal and the Nepalese people beautiful.
