Nepali Culture
Nepali culture is the oldest culture in the world which is almost thousands of years old. Nepali culture is considered to be the first and greatest culture. The expression "unity in diversity" is common here. Nepal is a diverse country where people of different religions live peacefully with their culture and traditions. People of different religions have their own language, food habits, customs, etc., yet they live together.
Nepali culture is very famous all over the world. It is seen as one of the most interesting and ancient cultures of the world. People living here related to different religions, traditions, food, clothes etc. People of different cultures and traditions are socially independent here, which is why there is a strong bond of unity in the diversity of religions.
People born into different families, castes, sub-castes and religious communities live together peacefully in groups. Social relationships here last for a long time. They have a good sense of belonging, and a sense of respect, honor and authority towards each other. Nepali people are highly devoted to their culture and know good culture to maintain social relations.
People of different religions in Nepal have their own culture and tradition. They have their own celebrations and fairs which they celebrate in their own particular manner. People imitate different food cultures like dal, rice, gundruk, pickle, malpuwa, etc. People of other religions have different food culture like Seva culture, Biryani, Tandoori, Mathi etc.
Nepal is a country rich in culture where people from different cultures live. We respect and honor our Nepali culture very much. Culture is the way we treat others, ideas, customs we follow, art, handicrafts, religion, food habits, festivals, fairs, music and dance etc. are all part of culture.
Nepali is the national language of Nepal and other languages are spoken daily in various states and union territories. According to history, Nepal is recognized as the birthplace of religions like Hinduism and Buddhism. Most of the population of Nepal belongs to Hindu religion. Other variations of Hinduism are Shaiva, Shakti, Vaishnava and Smarta.
Nepal is a small country with a large population where people of different religions live together with their unique culture. Some of the main religions of the country are Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist. Nepal is a country where different languages are spoken in different parts of the country. Generally, the people here are different in their dress, social norms, customs and eating habits.
As per their religion, individuals follow convictions, customs and customs. We celebrate our festivals according to our customs, observe fast, bathe in the holy river, worship and pray to God, sing religious songs, dance, eat delicious food and wear colorful clothes and many other activities. Along with various social events, we also celebrate some national festivals like Republic Day, Democracy Day, Civil Service Day etc. People of different religions in different parts of the country celebrate these festivals with great joy and enthusiasm without stepping foot on each other.
Gautama Buddha's birthday (Buddha Poornima), Lord Mahavira's birthday (Mahavira Jayanti) etc. are some events celebrated together by people of many religions. Nepal is famous for its various cultural dances and folk dances of its regions.
Nepal is a country of rich culture and heritage where people have humanity, generosity, unity, secularism, strong social ties and other good qualities. Nepali people are always known for their kind and gentle behavior even though people of other religions behave very aggressively. Nepalis are admired for their service-mindedness and calm nature without any change in their principles and views. Nepal is a land of great legends where great people were born and did many social works.
He is an inspirational figure for us even today. Nepal is the land of Gautama Buddha where he inculcated the culture of non-violence in humans. He always told us that if you really want to bring about change, instead of fighting with others, talk to them politely. He said that all people on this earth are hungry for love, respect, honor and care; If you give them everything they will surely follow you.
Prithvi Narayan Sah believed in unity. He asked Nepalis to show their strength of unity and humility, then see the change. Nepal is not a country of men and women, caste and religion, but it is a country of unity where people of all castes and sects live together.
People in Nepal are modern and follow the changing modernity with time but they are attached to their cultural values and traditions. Nepal is a spiritual country where people believe in spirituality. People here believe in yoga, meditation and other spiritual activities. The social system of Nepal is great where people still live as joint families with their joint grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc. Hence people here learn about their culture and traditions from birth.
Finally, culture is the identity of all of us Nepalis and it should be protected by all of us. We must not forget our culture.
