Social Problem
Problems in society are called social problems. There are many problems in our society. Sometimes fights, discrimination, superstition etc. are social problems. Nowadays, problems are increasing in the society. Man creates problems for his own selfishness. For example, if people are suffering from any disease in the village, they will not go to the hospital but go for treatment with Dhami Zhankri. Because they believe in Dhami Zhankri, every year people die in the village.
In our society, there are problems such as murder, discrimination, dowry system, wall marriage, consumption of drugs, etc. Among them, drugs are a dangerous and currently increasing problem. Drugs that grow rapidly are called drugs. Today, people's lives are affected due to this reason. This is a very dangerous thing for our health. Like gaja, drugs, hashish, heroin etc. There are reports of many people fighting and dying on the road due to people eating such things.
The second problem is murder and violence. Today in this modern era, people make others die for their own selfishness and gain. Murderous violence is increasing in the society. People tend to rob rich people for money. People tell the news that their neighbors and families are dying for property, houses and bungalows. Because of this, our family is insecure.
One of the worst and most widespread social problems is the dowry system. Dowry system is the practice of giving money, property, money or goods (in cash and in kind) to the girl or the daughter after marriage. Dowry is customary. The practice of giving and receiving dowry has been in practice in Nepali society since before. Due to these customs, daughters of poor families are not getting married. They are getting married by selling the little land and houses they have. But this is usually done in underdeveloped villages.
Discrimination is the discrimination between caste, religion, son or daughter etc. There is discrimination in the society on the basis of caste, religion, language. Still in villages, sons can study in school but daughters have to work at home. They think that sons will help in the future, but daughters will only make them spend on marriage. Women give birth to many babies in the hope of having a son. There are also reports that if a girl is born, she will die in the womb. Due to this, the population of this country is being affected.
Corruption is another problem of the society.
Corruption is a social epidemic. Until it is reduced, the country will not move forward no matter what kind of system comes and no matter who is the leader. Corruption in general means taking or giving bribes. Due to corruption in this society, good and wise students are not being admitted, but fools are being admitted by paying bribes. Today, the country lags behind due to the corruption of the leaders and the development is not happening. It is the rich people who are at the forefront now and do various bad things by paying bribes. Today few people are good and many people are corrupt. Bribery to earn money is increasing these days. This is a complex problem of our society. In order to overcome this, the society should teach corrupt people important lessons.
Still, the trafficking of girls is increasing rapidly in our society. Chalibeti Bechbekhan is less about selling women. Initially, women are kidnapped by members of the society or strangers and sold abroad. Some will sell to factories and some will sell to hotels. The surprising thing is that more than five thousand women are trafficked every year in different cities of India. Therefore, women in our society are insecure. Because of this, women are now behind and are not getting their rights in the society. The more backward women are because of this problem.
Wall marriage is one of those problems. It usually happens in villages. The practice of getting married in childhood is called Wal marriage. According to the rules, children under the age of eighteen are not allowed to get married, yet child marriages are taking place in Gaur. This problem also affects the population. This results in the birth of many children. At this age people are not aware of their health and may suffer from many diseases. Everyone thinks that marriage will end after the mental development of man.
Presently in the general public, individuals segregate and menace youngsters based on standing. They don't even give jobs to small people. For example - our city Hetauda. People of different castes live here but still many people live with bad thoughts. If their self-esteem deteriorates, they blame others and start arguing about unnecessary things. Due to this, there are various problems in the society. Sometimes they fight because of stealing money, sometimes they do things like utpatyang. This is why our society is not progressing. Our society is known for various good deeds but because of one bad deed no one likes the society. That's why if we make strict rules and laws then our society can progress and earn high name like Mount Everest. Even if strict rules are made, the society is left behind because of bad people in this age. Every citizen should understand that society has a big contribution in the development and progress of the country.
If we are all true citizens of the country and society, we should solve these problems together. If this happens, our society can definitely move forward and develop. In the beginning, one should know that one should not only think about one's own good, but also think about others. Any desire and desire of this world can be fulfilled by unity. If we unite in unity and reduce it, social problems will end and society will develop.
